Connect with a GitHub PAT

Create a GitHub personal access token, paste it below, and GroupChat will use it directly to check GitHub Copilot model access. No token exchange or server hop is used.

The app saves your PAT in this browser and uses it directly for Copilot requests.

Create a GitHub PAT

  1. Open GitHub's fine-grained personal access token page.
  2. Create a token for your account with only Copilot requests: Read access and an expiration you are comfortable with.
  3. Paste the token on the left. GroupChat signs in only after the token can read the Copilot models list.

Your GitHub account still needs an active Copilot subscription. Keep repository access set to none unless your organization requires otherwise.
