Connect with a GitHub PAT

Create a Copilot-capable GitHub personal access token, paste it below, and GroupChat will use it directly with the browser-accessible Copilot chat endpoint. No token exchange or server hop is used.

The app saves your token in this browser and uses it directly for Copilot requests.

Create a GitHub PAT

  1. Click the button below to open the fine-grained PAT creation page.
  2. Under Account permissions, set Copilot requests → Write. Repository access can stay at "No repositories".
  3. Generate the token and paste it on the left.

Your GitHub account still needs an active Copilot subscription. Keep repository access set to none unless your organization requires otherwise.
